I'll be taking a business trip (i.e, not a lot of free time) to
Newark in the next few weeks and am amazed there are no letterboxes
listed in that city! If you know of any, I'd appreciate a shout
since it would be fun to make time to find one letterbox while I'm
out and about.
Thanks,
Amyrica

As a born and raised Jerseyite, I'm thinking that there's a reason
there are no boxes in Newark!! Have you ever been there?!

Haha. Well, I have always had that Newark is, let's say, not the
most desireable place to be, but I can't believe it's SO terrible
that no one would plant a box there! Wow! I'll try to make this
trip as short as possible. :-)
Thanks,
Amyrica

It's slightly cleaning up...key word is SLIGHTLY. I wouldn't walk
around there by myself during daylight *shrug*

I'm picturing us, earlier this year, standing on the Watchung ridge
overlooking Newark Liberty Airport, after stamping into a letterbox
up there.
Nothing on the clue list resembles this. Is the box gone?

No idea..I've barely boxed in Joisey (although I'm from there..go
figure!), but my mental image of Newark still remains that of the
scary ghetto I passed through in my childhood.

(PS: Go Watchung! :) :))

Well, then you remember it's Jerrrrrrsey, never Joisey, and as to
boxing here, as the old commercial sang, "Come on over..."
